Jul 28, 12:00 – 1:01 PM (UTC)

We are joined by Ricky Heatley, Emerging Talent Attraction and Selection Advisor at HSBC.

He will talk about their early careers programmes in tech and data, the programme dates, application process and selection process and tips and tricks to help your application stand out.

He wants to share these exciting opportunities at HSBC:

You will partake in a full-time 24-month Technology Graduate Programme, based in Sheffield — the centre of all tech hiring and innovation at HSBC in the UK.

This is a graduate program with real potential, starting in March 2026. When you join HSBC, you receive the development you need to make the impact you’ve been dreaming of.

Here’s a snapshot of what the programme offers:

  • You’ll be an engineer, building software and solutions that power one of the world’s largest financial institutions — alongside global teams in cyber security, AI, data & analytics, and finance.
  • World-class training, mentoring, and the flexibility to grow your career in a way that suits you.
  • Easy commute to HSBC’s city-centre Sheffield office which is a 10-minute walk from the train station
  • Great perks, work-life balance, and culture — competitive salary, a free-to-use gym, a roof terrace, a coffee shop, and regular social events including with their Women in Tech networks and growing Emerging Talent community.

Please note you will require a 2.1 degree in any discipline
